Wool shouldn’t need to be washed often. If there is a spill, try to spot clean with a damp cloth and a little wool detergent. If it’s definitely time for a wash, hand wash gently and quickly in cold water with wool detergent - do not soak it. Gently wring out as much water as you can, then lie it on a towel and fold the towel over itself, pressing out as much excess water as you can. Lie flat on a dry towel to finish drying.
